Mike LoMurro, President of Certified Payments, Named to University of Central Florida College of Sciences Advisory Board

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 2, 2019

The University of Central Florida College of Sciences announced last week that Mike LoMurro, president of Certified Payments and an alumnus of UCF, has been appointed to its advisory board. He will begin his three-year board term in October.

LoMurro is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years of technology industry experience. His skill in bringing innovative and collaborative payment processing products to market, particularly to benefit government agencies, is accentuated by a relentless commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Prior to joining Certified Payments, LoMurro worked in sales and led successful teams at OpenGov Inc, North American Bancard (Point & Pay) and Harris Computer.

LoMurro is an active member of his community, serving in leadership roles for the YMCA, Boy Scouts of America and the Republican Party of Duval County, in addition to coaching youth sports. In 2018, he was named a UCF College of Sciences Distinguished Alumnus, an honor designed to recognize professional accomplishments and exceptional community service.

LoMurro holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from UCF and an MBA from Jacksonville University.
