Certified Payments is thrilled to welcome Matthew Landers as VP of Sales. Matthew has served in several senior sales and partner-driven leadership roles for companies such as FIS, Fiserv and Paysafe, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in merchant services to the Certified Payments team. The Loyola University Alum has both a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management as well as an MBA; he is also credentialed by the Electronic Transactions Association as a Certified Payments Professional.

Matthew’s customer-centric sales methodology complements Certified Payments’ commitment to be a trusted partner to the government entities it serves. And his belief in leveraging the strengths of one to benefit the team, is already proving successful.

Just one month into the job, Matthew’s taking advantage of both internal and external partnerships to generate results. This effort includes a collaboration with Fitech, the company’s sales channel that focuses exclusively on community banks, to provide solutions for the banks’ public sector customers and help generate referral business.  

“My job is to make the selling process easier for our sales team and allow them to focus on payment processing in the government and public sectors,” said Matthew. “Whether that’s providing needed tools, giving of my time in helping my team achieve their goals, or simply clearing the path of obstacles, there are a lot of opportunities on which we will capitalize.”
